Laurence Fox

Laurence Fox is an actor-turned-political activist and founder of the Reclaim Party. A member of the Fox acting dynasty, he rose to prominence as a right-wing commentator during the pandemic before launching Reclaim in 2020. He was sacked from GB News in October 2023 after making misogynistic comments about a female journalist on air. The comments prompted 8,867 Ofcom complaints and were found by Ofcom to have breached broadcasting rules. On the same day he was sacked, he was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit criminal damage to ULEZ cameras. In March 2025, he was charged with a sexual offence after allegedly sharing an upskirt photo on social media. Following the Southport stabbings in 2024, he called for Islam to be "permanently removed from Great Britain". In December 2025, he said he would "rather fight for Russia" than Britain.
