Lois Perry

Lois Perry is a climate sceptic campaigner and Director of Heartland Institute UK/Europe. She was briefly leader of UKIP for two months in 2024, having previously [stood](https://www.opendemocracy.net/en/dark-money-investigations/the-brexit-dark-money-lobby-has-a-new-target-climate-change-action/; https://www.opendemocracy.net/en/dark-money-investigations/the-brexit-dark-money-lobby-has-a-new-target-climate-change-action/) as a Reclaim Party representative for South East England. She launched Heartland's UK/Europe branch in December 2024 with Nigel Farage as guest of honour, and has said of climate change that "the hysteria around human causation is, frankly, a bit of a stretch". In September 2025, she claimed "Do you know why they [Reform] are abolishing net zero and why that's their policy? Me." She has also said that the US wing of Heartland is "helping to shape policy at the highest level… under Trump's administration". She is also strategic director of Reform UK Friends of Israel, and has echoed Christian Zionist sentiments, describing the UK's recognition of a Palestinian state as "shameful". In May 2026, she launched a climate denial group in Poland, extending Heartland's European network.
