Craig Mackinlay
PersonCraig Mackinlay is a Conservative peer and director of the Global Warming Policy Foundation, described by DeSmog as the UK's most prominent climate science denial group. He was Conservative MP for South Thanet from 2015 to 2024, having previously served as UKIP's deputy leader between 1997 and 2000 before joining the Conservatives in 2005. As an MP he chaired the Net Zero Scrutiny Group, which sought to water down the UK's climate commitments and recruited staff directly from the GWPF.
