Conservative Party
PartyThe Conservative Party is the UK's main opposition party, described by some outlets as centre-right and by others as right-wing. Several figures active within the party are also affiliated with other organisations represented here, including anti-climate and anti-rights groups. Under Rishi Sunak the party began rowing back on its climate commitments before the 2024 election defeat. Since then, under Kemi Badenoch, the party has gone further, with Badenoch declaring net zero "impossible" and pledging to scrap the 2008 Climate Change Act.
