George Farmer is a British-American businessman and son of Lord Michael Farmer, who has donated more than £5 million to the Conservative Party since 2010, making him one of the party's largest donor. An ex-Bullingdon Club member, he became the youngest-ever member of the Conservative Party's Leaders' Group, a donor club requiring over £50,000 a year and offering privileged access to the Prime Minister, before switching his political support to the Brexit Party in 2019, donating £200,000. He was the inaugural chair of Turning Point UK, stepping down in April 2019. He subsequently served as CEO of Parler, a self-described free speech social media platform that was temporarily removed from app stores following the January 6th Capitol riots, from 2021 until stepping down in April 2023.
