Michael Farmer
PersonMichael Farmer, Baron Farmer, is a Conservative peer and metals trader nicknamed "Mr Copper", who co-founded the Red Kite Group of hedge funds in 2005 alongside David Lilley. He served as co-treasurer of the Conservative Party from 2011 to 2015 and has donated over £5 million to the party since 2012. He donated £300,000 to Vote Leave. A born-again Christian who describes his faith as coming "literally overnight" at age 35, he and Lilley were reportedly known in City circles as the "God squad" due to their shared evangelical Christian beliefs. He is the father of George Farmer, and both of them hold shares in GB News' holding company All Perspectives Ltd.
